Changing the Way People Search for Homes

When RDC introduced a genuinely new way to search for homes, I had the opportunity to lead development of some of the historically best performing broadcast and social assets for what became one of the company's largest ever product launches.

Distilling what was exciting about the new features— using dynamic color layers to visually parse deep data in real time— into our bold, sharp style; visual development influenced and complimented a holistic refresh by our internal brand team across everything from the App Store to roadside billboards.

From designing the assets in Figma, to directing the VO, to all animation, this was a singular marketing task on a truncated timeline for a truly innovative product.

Augmenting an already robust filter set including environmental risks and transportation, the Dynamic Maps systems dovetail with familiar categories while allowing data previously buried in individual listing's to be surfaced and understood at a glance.

A Bold, Simple Template

Starting at Realtor.com, I was charged with bringing the bulk of our broadcast work, largely outsourcing for decades, in-house. With a data-driven Marketing process and a need for news-cycle speed, I adapted and devised a templated approach that embraced the well tested simplicity we'd found successful, but allowed for versatility, consistency, and fast-paced turnaround, resulting in dozens of the best performing spots in over five years.

Part of a larger creative initiative, the Retail Engine template became a foundational pillar of the company's Marketing practice.
