Leading Motion Design for Realtor.com, when we introduced a genuinely new way to search for homes, I had the opportunity to run development of some of the historically best performing broadcast and social assets for the company's largest ever product launch- Dynamic Map Layers.
Distilling what was exciting about the new features— using dynamic color layers to visually parse deep data in real time— into our bold, sharp style was a unique mission. From a motion-first POV, I helped to develop a holistic brand theme stretching from the App Store to print to roadside billboards.
Under challenging deadlines and the highest possible visability, I animated and sound designed all of our core broadcast placements myself while leading my Motion team in creating peripheral digital and social assets for the initiative. I also partnered with the excellent Polyester in directing a signature, 3D animated broadcast spot for product launch.

Augmenting an already robust filter set including environmental risks and transportation, the Dynamic Maps systems dovetail with familiar categories while allowing data previously buried in individual listing's to be surfaced and understood at a glance.

Taking the lead on Realtor.com's wholistic approach to Motion Design, I was charged with bringing the entirety our broadcast work, largely outsourced for decades, in-house. With a highly data-driven Marketing process and a need for news-cycle speed, I adapted quickly, devising a templated approach that embraced the bold simplicity we'd found tested most successfully, but allowed for versatility, collaboration, consistency, and fast-paced turnaround. The resulting 30+ broadcast placements in FY25 were some of the best performing spots in company history.
Part of a larger creative initiative, the White World template is now a foundational pillar of the company's Retail Engine Marketing practice.
